Holding the Line: Clinical Wisdom Meets Lived Authority
Long before I ever stepped onto a hospital floor as a Registered Nurse, my path was set by a singular, burning calling: to help women and children build strong, sustainable, and deeply rooted communities.
This purpose led me to study the intricate patterns of human connection through cultural anthropology and holistic nursing electives. I purposefully slowed down my academic journey, choosing to expand my understanding of how communities thrive rather than rushing through a standard curriculum.
I do not simply consult on holistic family transitions. I have lived them at the highest, most creative thresholds.
When conventional medical spaces told me it was not possible, I birthed fraternal twins at home with a licensed midwife. I chose evidence-based demand feeding, tandem breastfeeding those twins for 21 months, and my youngest child until she was three and a half years old.
In an era when traditional family spaces leaned heavily on punitive obedience structures, my husband and I held the line for our household. We chose attachment parenting, gentle Christ-like leadership, elimination communication, and highly intuitive, adaptive education. We successfully navigated the traditional system by utilizing public school IEP resources alongside tailored homeschooling approaches that allowed our children to soar in their unique artistic and scholastic bends. Today, those four children are thriving, deeply connected teenagers and young adults.
As a BSN-RN with over 20 years of acute clinical experience spanning maternal-infant health (LDRP), medical-psychiatric triage, and integrative wellness, I have carried this exact spirit to the bedside of every patient I have ever served. I have spent two decades listening to my clients' unique strengths and vulnerabilities. My goal has always been to empower them to successfully birth their babies, their breastfeeding journeys, their mental health milestones, and their lifelong wellness goals.
True health is a multi-generational symphony. It absolutely requires evidence-based clinical safety. But it equally demands intuitive movement, creative expression, dance, song, and an unwavering emotional anchor.
I act as a supportive lifestyle and cyclical liaison, honoring the incredible network of specialized clinical experts in our community while helping you translate their protocols into a sustainable daily reality. I founded this practice to offer my full authority to the world - to help modern women and families hold the intense tension of profound life transitions, and confidently explore the beautiful worlds they are creating.

Testimonials
“I had the privilege of working with Sarah in Labor & Delivery at The Baby Place, and I always knew her to be a thoughtful, clinically skilled, and deeply compassionate nurse. She brought strong judgment to complex situations while never losing sight of the person behind the patient.
Sarah was a steady advocate for the women and families in her care, and I trusted both her clinical instincts and her integrity. She approached her work with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine desire to help people feel informed, respected, and safe.
What stood out most to me was her ability to combine sound clinical knowledge with a holistic, human approach to care. I would feel very comfortable recommending Sarah to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate professional.”

“I have known Sarah for many years which has given me the opportunity to observe her under many unique circumstances. I’ve been with her on the mission field, watched her gentle touch with babies, seen her connect and communicate well with teenagers, and my personal favorite, engage as a loyal friend. Sarah embodies beauty, honor and faithfulness towards those she encounters. She is very intelligent, compassionate and gentle. She is a quick thinker in crisis and seems to intuitively access the need and act while soothing in a crisis. She has personally helped me brain storm through perimenopause, nervous system overload, navigating intrusive and anxious thoughts and root causes for other physical complications within my family. She is a gem! I highly recommend her as a coach for any of your health needs.”
Rebekah Ford, Mother, N.C.“I met Sarah when I was new to Labor and Delivery at the Baby Place. From the very first time I worked with her, I could tell she was one of the lead nurses on the unit, who I highly looked up to. She taught me crucial skills and how to think like a labor nurse. She was always so caring toward her patients and really stood up for their safety and to encourage them having independence and autonomy. Sarah is a unique caregiver, in that, she truly takes care of her patients like they are her very own family members. She is a critical thinker, very intelligent, and quick to respond. Whoever is under Sarah’s care will be in safe, diligent, caring hands.”

“Sarah lives 3 dimensionaly, caring for and nurturing her mind, body, and spirit. She brings this knowledge into each relationship in her life: family, friends, and professionally. As a childhood playmate turned long time friend, I’ve felt supported, heard, and, most importantly “seen” by Sarah in the best, most hopeful light. Sarah walks a beautiful balance of providing emotional support as well as offering well-researched medical, mental, and whole living advice which is gleaned from her passion for wellness and her lived experience. In particular, I’ve been encouraged and guided by Sarah through women’s health issues, childbirth fears, and perimenopause knowledge. Sarah delights in being a woman, and, in her company, I’ve learned to honor my body and give myself grace through the changing cycles and seasons of life.”

“I've known Sarah for over a decade. During the years that I've known her, I've watched her pour out her life for others. As a parent, she has raised 4 beautiful children who are a delight to be around. As a nurse, she has volunteered her time and resources by offering medical services to needy women in Kenya. As a friend, when I was very sick with Covid, Sarah drove to my house and brought me a helpful protocol to follow, along with the supplements that led to my recovery. Her kindness and care during that dark period was a Godsend.
To be around Sarah is to feel seen and heard. Her knowledge and experience, coupled with capable, compassionate care makes her a valuable resource in our community and the kind of person to whom I'm pleased to refer my friends.”

“First time experiences are best aided and guided by someone who’s been there, before. By the time I ended up in my first L&D story, Sarah already had loads of experience helping other mothers, including the navigation of her own children’s births. As with most birth stories, unexpected things may happen and often things don’t go as planned. Sarah urgently made herself available to be with me & my new born, every step of the way. Even with a rough start for labor, we had a strong finish for delivery, and I credit that to the strong Holistic Christian women I was surrounded by and the demonstration of the power of our Mighty God working things out for the good of those who love Him.”

“Sarah and I worked together at The Baby Place for years. We had a strong team of nurses that worked well together; we were all friends and served our laboring mothers and postpartum families well. When I became pregnant in 2020, we were all excited to meet my second child, but when I found out that his dear body would not support life for very long after he was born, I had to re-evaluate the time I spent as a nurse, mom, and with my little one growing in my belly. Sarah remained by my side throughout the pregnancy and we made memories together: going on hikes, camping, and kayaking. She and her kids were a reminder to me of the joys that my family still had yet to experience together. When Ezekiel was born I asked Sarah to be my postpartum nurse and the day he passed she was there, helping take pictures and making last minute memories. I went on to have more children and Sarah and I connect about once a year to get our families together.
